Why couples pick us (it's not the casino)
Almost nobody books us for the gaming — they book for the logistics. One venue for ceremony, reception and 130 rooms means nobody drives home, nobody gets lost between venues, and Grandma's bed is a lift ride away. The casino ends up being a bonus for the after-party crowd, not the reason for booking.
A wedding runs on logistics, not Pinterest boards. The best venue is the one that removes the most moving parts.
The questions to ask any resort venue
Whether you book us or not, these are the questions that matter:
- How many events run per day? (At Luna: one. Always.)
- What happens if it rains — specifically, in how many minutes and at whose decision?
- Is the coordinator in the hire price or an add-on?
- What's the guest room rate for the block, and how do guests book it?
- When does music legally have to end — and can it go later for a fee?
The honest trade-offs
Resort weddings trade character for convenience. You'll get a beautiful ballroom, not a rustic barn — if the barn aesthetic is the dream, chase it. You'll also share the property with other guests (though the events floor is private on the day). What you get back: a kitchen that feeds 220 without drama, backup plans for everything and a coordinator who's done this 200 times.
The casino question, answered
About half our weddings use the casino for an unofficial after-party — a hosted transfer at midnight, guests 18+ only. The other half never mention it and that's equally normal. The gaming floor is a separate wing; it doesn't intrude on the day either way.
